As a leader who helped shape the industry, Draganfly’s focus is on the sale of drone products and services, contract engineering & custom integration product development, and health monitoring products and services.
About the Role:
Draganfly Innovations is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive with a unique blend of sales acumen and law enforcement experience. This role is ideal for a professional who understands the importance of trust, integrity, and strategic thinking in building long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate will leverage their background in law enforcement to navigate complex environments, assess risk, and build partnerships with clients in security-sensitive industries.
This is a remote position based in the United States, with preference given to candidates living in the northeast region of the country.
The salary for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 USD based on experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets, particularly in sectors such as law enforcement, security, government, and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client demonstrations.
- Travel as needed to meet clients, conduct product demos, and attend trade shows and conferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Utilize investigative and analytical skills to assess client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM tools.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Background in law enforcement, military, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Preference for the candidate to live in the northeast United States
- Strong, established connections within the law enforcement community are essential for building trust and opening strategic opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with government agencies or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with investigative techniques and risk assessment methodologies.
- Operational knowledge of drones
