About the Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Operations Lead. The Operations Lead will oversee regional operations, ensuring that missions are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all applicable standard operating procedures and regulations. This role involves flight planning, crew coordination, equipment maintenance, training, and the seamless execution of customer facing activity. Working closely with internal teams, vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities, the Operations Lead & Lead Pilot, Wash Drones will manage pilots and other supporting staff in the region, coordinate equipment storage and inventory, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance.
Salary: $70,000-$90,000/Year USD
Your Responsibilities:
· Strategically plan and oversee UAV Washing operations within the Houston region, including responsibility for site, equipment, service delivery, growth, client relations and team management.
· Lead service delivery activity related to Washdrones, acting as a process and product thought leader within the company and delivering outstanding experiences
· Drive a ridiculously high standard of safety and client experience
· Support administrative functions as well as client service delivery as required
· Collaborate with other Draganfly teams to develop industry leading solutions
· Participate in the sales and business development process as required, including pitch sessions, quotes and trade show or demonstration events
· Conduct training, onboard and support new staff members and ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety standards and all applicable regulations
· Ensure all training and operations are executed in compliance with internal SOPs, to include crew training requirements and regulatory administration
· Take ownership of local inventories and equipment management in collaboration with internal teams to ensure proper tracking processes are supported and executed
· Ensure and enforce proper administration of pilot and aircraft flight hours to support the use of this actionable data for regulatory, training, safety, and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years experience providing Commercial UAV services as a Sr or Lead pilot
· Proven experience managing operations, ideally within the drone, aviation or service industry
· Strong understanding of drone technology, regulations and safety protocols
· An understanding of UAS service markets, specifically industrial and utility inspection applications
· Excellent problem solving, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
· Experience with pumps, pressure washing accessories and other related technologies
· Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and an incredibly strong commitment to safety.
· Adaptability and an ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
· Must be an excellent communicator and capable of consistently delivery of an outstanding client experience
· Experience with rope access heights cleaning, industrial cleaning or the pressure washing industry is an asset
